We are a family-owned and operated ranch, and everything we do at R3 Beef is hands-on. Our cattle are raised on the same foothill ground we live on, not in a feedlot. They spend their lives on native grass with plenty of room to move, and when the time is right, we offer them grain to bring out the flavor people expect from high-quality beef. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is done halfway.
Our direct-to-consumer program is simple. When you purchase a whole animal or half share directly from our ranch, you know exactly where it comes from, how it was raised, and the care that went into every step. We handle herd management, feeding, grazing, and the overall development of the ranch ourselves. Every improvement on the land, every fence line, every water system, and every feed decision is made to keep the cattle healthy and the ranch improving year after year.
When you reserve with R3 Beef, you are purchasing ownership of a whole live animal or a one-half share before processing. Once ownership is documented, we coordinate delivery of your animal to a trusted California processor for custom processing. The processor works directly with you on your cut instructions and prepares your beef for your personal or household use. Custom-processed beef is not for resale.
